5 Signs you are letting a man walk all over you

Sometimes when you are in a relationship, it’s hard to realize what’s really happening. Is your man walking all over you? Here are five signs that say he is.

He flakes out

He’s late for dates or doesn’t show at all. Yet, you continue to want to see him. He shows up in the middle of the night for a booty call after skipping out on a date, and you let him in. He blows off plans with you to spend time with “his boys” every week.

You always initiate contact

Are you always the one calling him? If you aren’t sure, check your cell phone and see how many outgoing calls and messages you have to his number compared to the incoming ones. Though it’s not going to always be even, there should be some kind of balance. If he’s not calling you, he’s not that interested or you are always beating him to the punch. Lay back and wait for him to call you sometimes.

He flirts in front of you

When you are out with a group of friends, at a bar or party, does he flirt with other women in front of you? Does he introduce you as his “friend?” Maybe he’s just not into you or doesn’t consider you a girlfriend. Flirting in front of you or ignoring you is very disrespectful.

He talks down to you or about you

Is he always putting you down? Does he call you fat or harp on the way you dress, talk or act? Just like you shouldn’t put up with physical abuse, you shouldn’t put up with emotional abuse either. If he cares about you, he will flatter you with compliments and brag about you to friends.

He blames you for everything

When something goes wrong, does he blame you? And worse yet, do you believe him? If everything and anything is your fault, from the dishes not getting done to his mistakes at work, then let this guy go. He has a lot of growing up to do and you shouldn’t continue to let him walk all over you.
