5 Places to meet available men

Don’t hang out at a bar if you want to meet quality men. Therapist Dr Terri Orbuch, author of Five Simple Steps to Take Your Marriage from Good to Great (Random House) and SeniorPeopleMeet.com’s relationship expert, offers these interesting places to meet men.

Grocery stores

Go to specialty stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s at around 7:00 pm. Quality single men go grocery shopping after work.

Gym classes

Take a spinning or weight training class in the early morning hours around 6:00-7:00 am. These classes are filled with quality guys who want to work out or stay fit before they go to work.

School functions

Look to meet single or divorced men at your children’s school functions –- at open house when you’re waiting in line to talk to your children’s teachers or at sporting events.

Group meetings

You can find men by joining a writer’s group or a marathon running group, or by hanging out at the library, specifically where the computers are located.

Religious groups for singles

Men don’t join singles groups very often, except when they are affiliated with a religious organization. Make sure the group has an range that fits you (oftentimes these groups will be organized around age, such as an over 60s group).
