Where are you from? Columbus, Ohio.

Why is your Pitch a game changer? Bright Pink is the only breast and ovarian health nonprofit in the country that is reaching women while they are young, and offering them proactive health management strategies to last a lifetime.

Who is your biggest advocate? I am blessed with many! My parents, my incredible husband, Gregg, and my amazing stepchildren, Zach, Lexie and Abby. I also feel blessed that my entire team at Bright Pink has my back and I have theirs. We are fortunate to have each other.

Lightbulb moment? We don’t have to wait until a woman is diagnosed with cancer to take action. We have the power to take action to prevent breast and ovarian cancer or detect these diseases at early, non-life-threatening stages.

Who inspires you this week? Abbey, a 12-year-old girl who dropped off $120 from a bake sale she and her friend Maeve hosted last weekend to raise funds and awareness for Bright Pink. In her note to us, she said, “I believe Bright Pink will one day save my life.” Incredibly touching!

Where do you do your best work? I get my best ideas while running on the treadmill or in a spin class.

In 10 years you will be… Sharing stories from the millions of lives Bright Pink has reached, impacted and saved and finding ways to reinvent myself, both professionally and personally.

Guilty pleasure? A two-hour nap in the middle of the day on a Saturday and Sunday. I literally feel as though I awake a different person.
