Watch A Full Encore of Our Self-Care Event ‘SK Conversations: New Year, Now You’
In a year that’s seen a global pandemic, unprecedented isolation and a radical (and at many times traumatic) change to how we live our day-to-day lives with our families, it’s more important than ever to check in with yourself and consider what you need in order to survive (or, ideally, thrive) — and that’s where self-care comes in. At our most recent digital event SK: Conversations: New Year, Now You, we brought together an awesome braintrust of experts in the realm of self-care and parenting to talk about their experiences, their strategies and their best practices for actually making time to do a few things for yourself when you have no time or energy (and model that behavior for the young people in your lives).
So, if you missed our live broadcast, you can also check out the full event above — catch a soothing sound healing session, a fun and high-energy workout with Brooke Burke, a thoughtful and unapologetically real panel with Brooke Burke, Nina Westbrook, Eve Rodsky and Keya Nkonoki sharing their feelings on real world, lived-in self-care and a thoughtful keynote conversation with Actress and Take Only What We Need (TOWWN) founder Genevieve Padalecki.
We know it’s not easy to take an hour or more out of your day, but we hope you’ll be able to find some connection, comfort and community through the stories and advice of our speakers.
And if you haven’t had your fill of self-care tips, tricks and stories, be sure to give our self-care digital issue a read for more insight into how you can look after your mind and body — even in chaotic, stressful times.
