Joanna Gaines has been super-busy lately. The soon-to-be mom of five just released a cookbook called Magnolia Table a few months ago, and now she has a design book coming this fall.

Gaines’ new design book, Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leavewill be in stores Nov. 6, and we’re just as excited about this as everything else she does — can she be our best friend now, please?

“Home is so personal, and for me, I want it to be a place where my family feels loved, safe and at ease,” said Gaines in a recent interview with People. “Creating a space that tells your story is really what it’s all about. I’m so excited to finally release Homebody’ official cover!”
In that same interview, Gaines also let us know that the book will be a “a practical guide to creating a home that reflects the personalities and stories of the people who live there — making it a place that you never want to leave.” So, much like her cook book, there’ll be a mix of instructions and personal stories. In this case, a whole lot of decor how-tos and decoration advice that even beginners will appreciate.

Although Chip and Joanna Gaines’ hit show Fixer Upper is coming to an end, it looks like we won’t be deprived of all the Gaines’ genius home design wisdom. It’s an exciting year for the couple, and we can’t wait to get our hands on this new book!
