Spelling also had complications after her daughter’s birth last October, but this time she needed surgery after complications from her son’s birth in August.
Tori Spelling was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery, due to having complications after her C-Section!
Tori Spelling had her fourth child just a few weeks ago, and it should have been a happy occasion. But today, the actress landed back in the hospital because of that birth.
“Tori underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her c-section,” her rep told People. “She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably.” Spelling’s son Finn, with her husband Dean McDermott, is her second child in the last year and her fourth child in five years. All four children were born through cesarean section. McDermott also has a 13-year-old son from a previous marriage.
According to TMZ, Spelling also experienced complications after giving birth to her third child, Hattie, who was born only ten months before her new son, Finn. She was hospitalized for migraines just a week after Hattie was born.
After Finn was born, dad Dean McDermott wrote his new son a letter and posted it on his website, DeanMcDermott.com.
“I can’t wait to encourage you and tell you that you’re the most amazing person in the world and that you can do anything or be anything you want to be,” said McDermott to his new son. “I’ll be there for your first tears, your first bump and bruise. I’ll be there for your first steps, your first words, and your first day at school. I’ll be there for your first broken heart, your first award, your first car. I’ll be there for your wedding day, and I’ll be there for your firstborn.”
You can read the full letter on his website.
Spelling currently hosts the show Craft Wars on TLC, where crafters compete by building or crafting different assigned projects. The show has not commented on whether the surgery might affect the filming of the show, but Spelling’s rep is acting like Spelling is fine and will be ready to return soon.
