Jessica Alba cut her bangs for the summer, and we’re diggin’ the look. The problem: We don’t want to cut our hair. Luckily, there’s an alternative!
Jessica Alba made the cut… a cut to her bangs, that is! The actress and entrepreneur cut bangs into her signature brunette hair earlier this month for her upcoming movie, Dear Eleanor.
“I’ll do anything to my hair if it’s needed for a role I’m playing,” Alba once told InStyle of her willingness to make the switch for work.
The mom looks great in her bangs and ombre style, but we’re a little apprehensive about making such a drastic change to our own strands. Celebrity hairstylist Sacha Quarles says we don’t have to be so scared: It’s easy to copy Alba’s style at home with a few extensions.
“Ask that your stylist razor-cut the ends to mimic Jessica’s style,” Quarles tells SheKnows.
But don’t worry about the color.
“Use SHE by SO.CAP.USA‘s ombre extensions, which will not only create the color effect but also lengthen and create thicker hair, like Jessica’s,” Quarles says.
Though this hairstyle can be worn with or without the bangs, it is easy to re-create the look without having to commit to cutting your hair.

Don’t cut them yourself, though.
