Easy fixes for common household catastrophes

Red wine disaster

Not to worry if your favorite sweater or your great-grandmother’s upholstered chair is splattered with red wine. We have a simple and easy way to get the stain out!

1. First blot the stain with paper towels to absorb any excess moisture from the wine or other dark liquid.
2. Apply a small amount of club soda directly to the stained area and allow it to fix.
3. Allow at least 15 minutes for the soda to set into the stain. After the club soda has set, use a small brush to scrub in a circular motion over the stain.
4. Absorb any excess club soda with paper towels. Disaster free!
