Easy fixes for common household catastrophes

Shattered glass

If you have children of pets, you know the feeling of trying to pick up shards of glass after an accident. How do you know that you have gotten every little piece of glass off the floor?

1. An easy solution is to wipe a piece of white bread across the broken glass area to pick up even the tiniest shards.
2. Then run your vacuum over the area for any excess glass.
3. If you still notice slivers of glass, roll duct tape around your hand and rub it along the floor to pick up additional glass stuck into the floor.
