Sniffing each other

Much like humans shake each other’s hands, dogs sniff each other as a form of greeting. The most popular sniff region is the bottom, as that is the area that has the strongest odor. You may also see a dog sniff another’s ear or all over their body to really get a good whiff of who they are.
