10 Very weird celebrity beauty regimens

We know celebrities take their beauty routines very seriously, but is it possible they may take it a little far sometimes? Grapeseed oil, bird poop and coffee grounds are just some of the things some celebs have actually used as part of their beauty regimens. See which celebs have tried some very odd beauty tips and why.

1. Halle Berry uses coffee grounds for cellulite

I would take any tip from the ridiculously hot Halle Berry but coffee grounds? But apparently this is the actress’ trick for beating cellulite. Cosmopolitan.com reported that the Oscar winner mixes the grounds in with her body wash to help smooth her skin and accelerate blood flow. Whatever she does, it is working.

2. Lady Gaga uses tape as a makeup remover

Ever wondered how Lady Gaga manages to get the layers and layers of makeup she piles on for shows and appearances off of her face? Is it a team of little monsters with magical makeup remover? Not so much. Her big secret is tape, as reported by The Daily Mail. Sellotape to be exact. That is how they pick up all that excess glitter on her face. Stick it on, rip it off and hope eyebrows (and your skin!) stay on.

3. Katie Holmes puts placenta cream on her face

Not to sound too much like Jerry Seinfeld, but what is the deal with celebrities and placentas? Why are they always doing things with them? First there was that whole are-they-eating-them-or-not and now apparently both Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria use a cream with placenta in it, according to Daily Makeover. It is supposed to increase collagen and moisture levels. Things besides placenta could probably do that, but to each his own.

4. Jennifer Love Hewitt uses toothpaste as a pimple remover

Did you think toothpaste was just for brushing your teeth? Well, guess again. Jennifer Love Hewitt uses it to get rid of blemishes on her face, as reported by AllWomensTalk.com. With this one, you will have clearer skin and your face will smell winter green fresh!

5. Demi Moore relies on leeches for youthful skin

And you thought using leeches went out of style after the 1800s. Well, not for celebrities. The always entertaining Demi Moore flies all the way to Austria to use “highly trained” medical leeches. “These are not just some low level scavengers; we’re talking high level blood suckers,” she told David Letterman on his show. Their purpose is to get toxins out of the blood and remove bruising and under eye circles giving one an externally youthful look. The witch from Snow White is looking less crazy right now.

6. Victoria Beckham loves a good bird poop facial

I can’t imagine Victoria Beckham doing anything that involves nature but The Daily Mail reported that the former pop star is all about bird poop and smearing it on her face. The bird poop facial, also known as the Geisha facial, is an ancient Japanese beauty practice that used nightingale excrement. But celebrities (including Posh’s hubby David Beckham) are all about it today as it leaves your skin super shiny and smooth.

7. Cindy Crawford sprays milk on her face

Milk goes in your coffee, your cereal and your face? According to Cindy Crawford it does. Hudabeauty.com says she mixes a little milk with water and sprays it on her face throughout the day to keep it moist. The woman hasn’t aged in 20 years so this may be one to consider.

8. Kate Hudson gives herself ice water facials

This one will chill you to your core. Kate Hudson as well as Sienna Miller and Kate Moss have been known to stick their faces in a bowl of ice water. Hudson does this to revive tired and dull looking skin, DailyMakeover.com reported. So how long does she stick her face in the freezing cold water?  “It depends how badly I want it,” she said in an interview on her beauty regimen.

9. Gwyneth Paltrow uses snake venom as a Botox supplement

That’s right. According to The Daily Mail, celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow are using venom as an anti-aging treatment. When a snake bites you, it sends venom into your blood which paralyzes your muscles. Well some Swiss scientists realized that venom acts as a Botox-like substance because it literally shocks the wrinkles out of you so they created a venom synthetic. Of course, celebs are all about this.

10. Emma Stone uses grapeseed oil as a moisturizer

Emma Stone picks up grapeseed oil at her local grocer and then uses it as a moisturizer after the shower, as reported by BeYouthful.net. This sensitive lady finds this is one of the best things for her skin. Ehh, why not? “I pretty much smell like grape all the time,” she said. Well clearly her boyfriend Andrew Garfield doesn’t mind, so why not?
