If you are like most women, your skin has different needs depending on the season, time of month or even by level of stress in your life. In fact, you might notice that each part of your face, body and hair has specific needs. You might be oily in the t-zone, have hyperpigmentation on your cheeks or have dark circles under your eyes. The team at Boscia, creators of the amazing Luminizing Black Mask, have brought to the forefront the concept of “multi-masking,” that is using different problem-solving masks around your face at the same time for maximum results. (estheticians have done this for years!). With so many amazing treatment masks, here is how you customize your beauty treatments from head to toe.

In fact, you might notice that each part of your face, body and hair has specific needs. You might be oily in the t-zone, have hyperpigmentation on your cheeks or have dark circles under your eyes. The team at Boscia, creators of the amazing Luminizing Black Mask, have brought to the forefront the concept of “multi-masking,” or rather, using different problem-solving masks around your face at the same time for maximum results (estheticians have done this for years!). With so many amazing treatment masks out there, find out how to customize your beauty treatments from head to toe.
Choose the right formula
The first step is to choose the right formula masks. Peel-off or clay masks are the easiest to apply to your face and won’t run. Cloth or patch treatments are great too because you can cut them to size and apply to specific parts of your face. The key to multi-masking is to apply them all at once to save time. You should be able to apply all of your masks, wait 10 to 20 minutes depending on the mask type and remove.
Target your concerns
Analyze every part of your face. Start with your forehead — are you oily or do you have wrinkles? If your forehead tends to get oily during the day, apply a mask like Boscia Green Tea Oil Control Mask ($41). Do you have forehead wrinkles? Try a patch like BIOBLISS ($150), which infuses wrinkle-fighting ingredients into your skin.
Eyes
Next, work on your eyes — do you have crow’s feet, dark circles or puffiness? If wrinkles are your concern, try an eye pad treatment like Shiseido Benefiance Pure Retinol Instant Treatment Eye Mask ($68). If you need to de-puff and energize your eyes, try a mask like Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Eye Mask ($65).
T-zone
Most people complain about large pores or oiliness in the t-zone (even if they are dry on other parts of their face). Pore-minimizing strips such as Biore’s Deep Cleansing Pore Strips ($12) are already cut into the perfect shape to apply across your nose.
Cheeks
If melasma or hyperpigmentation are your concerns, try a brightening mask, such as ). If you need to firm up your skin, try a mask like .
Nasal labial lines
Are you noticing wrinkles or folds along the nasal labial area (aka “puppet” lines)? Try a mask that will smooth smile lines and plump up the skin like Skin Food Black Raspberry Nasolabial Fold Wrinkle Care Mask Sheet ($5). This mask is already cut into a shape to fit right over the nasal labial area.
Upper lip and lips
If your lips are dry and flaky, revamp them with a lip mask like Kaplan MD Lip 20 Mask ($48). You can use this for the fine lines above your lips as well.
Chin
Most women find that they break out (especially from hormonal fluctuations) on their chin and jaw area. Try a mask like GLAMGLOW Super-Mud Clearing Treatment ($69) to zap and prevent acne. If you notice you need to firm this area up (double chin or sagging skin), use your firming mask in this zone.
Neck
The neck is a much neglected part of the body. Do you notice your neck is dry? Loose or sagging skin? Or even the start of fine lines and wrinkles? Try a mask that will contour over your neck such as Neck Perfect Anti-Aging Neck Mask ($30).
Decolette
Another often neglected area is the decolette. To smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, try a sheet mask like Babor Derma Cellular Ultimate Firming Decollete Mask ($62).
Body
Your skin is the largest organ of your body, so don’t just stop at your face! If your body is dry or you want to firm up your skin, try a mud mask like Borghese Fango Ferma ($70).
Hands and feet
While you are at it, treat your hands and feet (best to do your hands last of course!). These are the two areas where you can slather on a heavy moisturizing cream, followed by socks on your feet and cotton gloves on your hands.
Top it off
Your hair probably needs some TLC too! Revitalize your hair with a mask that can be applied to dry hair such as Umberto Beverly Hills Collagen Pre-Shampoo Treatment ($13). This treatment only needs 10 minutes and can be shampooed out once you have removed your face masks.
