H&M has finally addressed our only gripe about its service: It just launched online shopping in the U.S.!
Fall — and back-to-college — shopping just got a little easier: H&M has officially launched online ordering in the U.S.
Cue trumpets and the singing angels!
“[We’re] thrilled to launch online shopping in the U.S.,” the company said in a statement.
Not as thrilled as we are. The Swedish retailer has stores throughout the U.S., but fans outside metro areas have had to travel (or pay huge prices on eBay) to get their favorite budget designs.
The launch of H&M online shopping is especially good news for plus-sized shoppers. The website will offer many of its pieces in sizes up to 24, while the brick-and-mortar stores typically only carry up to 14.
We can only hope they’ll offer the upcoming Isabel Marant for H&M collection online, too. The French fashion house will release a collection of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories on Nov. 14.
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor,” Marant said in June. “I aim to create something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.”
