Take the shame out of mom jeans

We run a constant battle in our minds over high rise jeans — they are absolutely comfortable, but can they possibly be cute?

Believe it or not, you can wear a pair of jeans with a high rise — and something other than a pair of high-waisted bell bottoms. It’s true!

And, get this: You will not run the risk of having your butt crack show every time you bend down to fix your shoelaces! We know, we know, low-rise skinny jeans are “it” for the sexy young thangs — and we love them, too, but when you consider all those thong-baring drawbacks, you may just want to add a few of these to your closet!

1 Joe’s Visionaire Skinny Stretch Denim Jeans $167 — Dark, sleek, skinny – there’s nothing “mom” jeans about this choice!
2 AG Stevie Jeans $168 — Every girl needs a slim, straight pair of jeans – make this your choice.
3 AG Stilt Jeans $148 — This is a great, versatile choice — will look great with your favorite ballerina flats, or tucked into tall boots!

4 Gap 1969 Mid-weight Skinny Bootcut Jeans $70 — We love the price, but we’re gaga for that built-in worn-in perfect medum blue look (without having to wear them until they get to that point!)
Levi’s 646 Flare High Rise Jeans $65 on sale — Denim with a bit of flare. Yes, you’ll get the hippie jokes. You may even be the one making them – but you’ll look totally cute while you are at it!
6 Joe’s Visionaire Boot-Cut Stretch Jeans $169 — We love how these feel cool and casual, and yet the dark deep wash makes them fine for more formal outings!
