How to style your mom for Mother’s Day

It’s that time of year again when moms are made to feel extra special and appreciated. Why not vamp up her look too? With a few simple steps, get your mom ready for her big day in style.

The wardrobe

The wardrobe is the most important thing for your mom to start with her new look. Finding the right outfit is key. Take your mom to her favorite shopping spots and guide her to the right dress. Make sure it flatters her shape in every way but also that she takes a chance on a trend. It may be a floral pattern or a bold, colorblock pattern. Have fun with it!

Accessorize

Next, accessorize. Having the right purse, necklace or shoes can make all the difference. If the dress is on the simpler side, try a bold statement necklace or a vibrant colored pump. If the dress is on the more detailed side, try a nude pump to elongate legs. This is the creative part. Be bold and confident when accessorizing.

Pamper

Next, mom needs the right hairdo and makeup for the day. Take her to a spa for all the perks like an eyebrow wax and manicure. Try some new spring nail colors and why not a facial? She is going to look and feel like a whole new woman. When women feel more confident on the inside, it carries over to the outside.

Now that mom is all ready, enjoy the day and this bonding experience together! Be sure to snap some shots of your stylized mom and her newly found confidence!
