The Wizard of Oz turns 75 this month! The legendary movie will be back in IMAX theaters starting on Sept. 20 — and Julep has the nail polish to get you ready for the re-release!

The Wizard of Oz is set to make its way to IMAX theaters on Sept. 20 in honor of the film’s 75th anniversary — and Julep is doing its part to honor the Judy Garland classic with a special nail polish collection.
The Julep Wizard of Oz four-piece collection ($35) — on sale now at QVC — is a colorful ode to the film we all know and love. Each of the four glittery shades represents a theme in the film. The collection includes the following:
- Ruby Slippers: A full-coverage, red, multidimensional glitter reminiscent of Dorothy’s red slippers
- Tin Man: A silver, holographic shade that reminds us of the man without a heart
- Glinda the Good Witch: A delicate pink frost
- Emerald City: A rich and vibrant emerald crème
Like all Julep shades, the Julep Wizard of Oz collection was formulated without carcinogens like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene and DBP. Bonus? They’re all perfect colors for fall, too.
We can’t wait to relive the classic film in theaters, even though we’ve seen it hundreds of times at home. Even the man behind the digital remaster for theaters couldn’t get over just how ahead of its time the film really was.
“They say a joke, and you hear a titter, then they say another joke, and then they’ll follow it up with a punchline,” Ned Price, chief preservation officer at Warner Bros. technical operations, told Variety.
“So (the jokes) might come in threes, but there are pauses in between to let the audience stop laughing. And they’re timed beautifully.”
