Portland has a very unique culture, one that is filled with originality, irony and pure creativity. There is paint on the sidewalks, people are in a constant dream state and there is an entire block dedicated to one bookstore. The Saturday market on the waterfront is a great way to meet people and see an amazing array of products — antique-looking jewelry, homemade jams, fantastic artwork and more.
