Kristin Cavallari’s style has evolved so much since her Laguna Beach days, and I adore the way she mixes sexy with classy in her outfits. Here, she stepped out in style to host Akira’s 11th annual fall fashion show (sponsored by Chinese Laundry) and walked her way right onto our best dressed list.

I have a weakness for a collared dress, I’ll admit it. There’s just something so fun and flirty about the look! Kristin’s mixed texture dress combines sexy leather with flattering flowy pleats and the innocence of a structured white collar. She paired the fashion forward dress with the black “Copertina” pump from her Chinese Laundry shoe collection and minimal accessories.

The final verdict? School girl meets sexy mom chic! I love the way Kristin looks effortlessly fashionable here and am digging her simplistic beauty look too.

Say what you will about Miley Cyrus’ recent antics, but the girl looked flawless at a Fashion Group International event in a glittery backless halter gown that accented her toned physique. Call me impressed!

Miley has been experimenting with her style for a few years now, and she’s had some major hits and some big misses over time (who hasn’t?). But this week, she scored a fashion win with this gown. Miley’s big on shocking us with her style, and loves to look sexy, but here she shows that you can look uber sexy without showing that much skin. An open back and a strappy halter offer enough sex appeal here.

The final verdict? Everything from the way this dress flows over Miley’s physique to her beautiful eye makeup and sleek hair is perfect here. Well done, Miley, keep it up!
