Ready to kiss 2013 goodbye? Send it off in style with a hotel New Year’s Eve party.

Turnberry Isle Miami

Holiday snow not your thing? Ditch the cold for South Florida’s beaches and Turnberry Isle Miami’s New Year’s Eve special. The 300-acre resort is throwing a Great Gatsby Ball – a black-tie event with a Roaring ’20s reception, complete with gourmet food, specialty wines and themed cocktails. It’s pricy at $250 per person but comes with a sit-down dinner, dessert buffet and champagne toast at midnight. Oh, and let’s not forget the nine-piece swing band! Come Jan. 1, nurse that inevitable hangover with Cascata Grill’s ultimate brunch buffet for $35 per person.

La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa

La Posada de Santa Fe Resort and Spa’s Winter Bliss package is a two-night stay that includes a pair of spa treatments and toasty cocktails and starts at $239 per night. For an extra $95 per person, you can ring in 2014 with a five-course dinner at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Fuego. Local ingredients meld together with Latin flavors for a menu of Serrano ham and lobster salad, green chile béarnaise with potato gratin, and rosemary and orange queso de cabra flan. It’s the perfect escape if you’re looking for a low-key celebration.

Conrad New York

New York City is no doubt one of the most popular destinations for a New Year’s Eve party. Skip the zoo of Times Square and instead opt for a worthwhile fete at Conrad New York. For $155 per person, ATRIO restaurant is hosting a five-course dinner with an optional wine pairing. Plus, you’ll enjoy live music by Ari Why and the Invisible College, and you can watch the ball drop the best way — on TV via a live feed. Just before midnight, head up to the Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar for a champagne toast.

Hotel deLuxe

Portland’s Hotel deLuxe is bringing in 2014 on a glamorous old-Hollywood note with its two dinner events. Start your night off with the Delectable Jazz Dinner ($75 per person, four-course and prix-fixe) and then move on to party elsewhere. Or spend the entire night at the hotel with its Supper Club Party, which kicks off at 9 p.m. for an evening of dinner, dancing and live jazz music. It’ll run you $125 per person, and reservations are required. Stay overnight with the Ring in 2014 package that includes accommodations, $50 food-and-beverage credit and late check-out for $289 per night.

The White Barn Inn

New Year’s Eve at The White Barn Inn will be full of drama. The Kennebunkport, Maine, hotel’s romantic Broadway-themed celebration combines fine dining, singing, dancing and plenty of toasts to 2014. You’ll start with canapés at the bar and then sit down to a six-course dinner with piano entertainment until 10:30 p.m., at which point performers hit the stage for a masquerade show. Chef Jonathan Cartwright leads the midnight toast and then takes guests on a special kitchen tour to finish off the night. Cost is $290 per person.
