Brother vs. Brother: How does Jonathan Scott’s style differ from Drew’s?

The hunky real estate brothers behind the hit show Property Brothers might look the same, but each has a style that’s uniquely his. Tell us, whose style do you like better?

Jonathan and Drew Scott are used to working closely together. The twin brothers star in popular home renovation and real estate shows Property Brothers, Buying & Selling and Brother vs. Brother. After spending so much time working together, one would expect their styles to mesh together.

While the Scott brothers have a lot of similarities (ahem, and we don’t just mean their handsome looks), each has a design style of their own. The brothers see eye to eye when it comes to having a minimalist feel in their design preference, but each likes to put a unique spin on the space.

“I’ve coined my style as ‘elegantly eclectic,'” Jonathan tells us. “I love having conversation pieces in my designs — pieces that I pick up from my travels — so there’s a story behind each one.”

“I like having something with a very minimalistic sort of feel, which Drew is very much that way, but also, still having character, so lots of vintage pieces in my designs,” Jonathan explains.

“Drew likes to keep things very clean and modern. I like to have things a little bit more vintage.”

Jonathan sums up the main differences between the two: “Drew is also more of a condo guy. I’m more of a ‘like to have a backyard’ guy.”
