Oops… even celebrities get it wrong sometimes! We’re telling you why Katy Perry and Pink‘s fashions fell short in our weekly feature. Learn from the stars’ sartorial slip ups!

Poor Katy Perry… she’s a Fashion Fail repeat offender! The singer was going for a Sesame Street-walker look as she left a radio station in London wearing a yellow jacket only Big Bird could love, paired with a tight striped minidress and that Chanel dangly logo belt again… sigh.
Let’s start with her yellow fur coat. We totally get wanting to be warm but there are plenty of stylish, cozy coats out there that won’t leave you looking like a fuzzy duckling. Plus, it completely clashes with her mint and black striped minidress, which is too tight and makes her look like she’s expecting John Mayer’s baby. We’ve said it before but we don’t like that tacky logo belt, either.
The final verdict? Katy might want to try a new stylist to break out of her style rut. Those black over-the-knee boots would look better with a black miniskirt and blazer, not this awkward outfit. Please leave bright yellow jackets to the birds and bumblebees, Katy.
Pink
We wonder how many My Little Ponies were scalped to make this fringe-accented colorblocked creation that Pink chose for Billboard’s Women in Music event. The multicolored dress is by Herve Leger and there’s a ton going on here for just one dress.
The brightly colored stacked blocks on her frock remind us of playing Tetris as a kid, and the fringe pieces all over the place are out of control. We don’t mind the ornate embellishment at the hem of the dress, but the haphazard pieces placed all over look like a DIY project gone wrong. Just give us a reason why you wore this!
The final verdict? Her funky outfit isn’t hitting a high note for us, but Pink’s certainly still a winner. The singer, songwriter and mother was honored as Woman of the Year by the magazine at the event. Well done!
