Celeb-inspired party hair and makeup tutorial: January Jones

Use these tutorials to recreate January Jones‘ 2013 Emmy Awards makeup for the ultimate party look.

Supplies

• Lilac eyeshadow (soft pinkish/purple)
• Deep purple or eggplant eyeshadow
• Powder highlighter (or light shimmer eyeshadow)
• Black eyeliner
• Black mascara
• Rosy pink blush
• Soft pink lipstick

Instructions:

Lay lilac eyeshadow onto the entire upper lid and carry the lilac shadow along the bottom lash line.

Dot powdered highlighter on the inner corners of each eye. Be generous with the highlighter. It should really stand out.

Using a deep purple shadow, apply a thick line along the lash line, extending past the eye, creating a cat-eye shape. Use a bit of this same deep purple on the lower outer corner of each eye.

Line the outer corner of each eye with black eyeliner. Stop the liner right where the powder highlighter begins.

Pop rosy pink blush on the apples of each cheek. Finish with a swipe of soft rosy pink lipstick.
