Celeb-inspired party hair and makeup tutorial: Miranda Kerr

Supplies:

• 1-1/2-inch curling iron
• Comb
• Paddle brush
• Hair clips
• Smoothing pomade or shine serum
• Hairspray

Instructions:

Take a comb and make a deep part into the hair.

Using a 1-1/2-inch curling iron, curl 3-inch sections of hair at a time, rolling the barrel under. Clip each section in place as you go. This will allow the hair to cool in this barrel shape.

Let hair down and brush through with a wide paddle brush. Take a smoothing pomade and smooth hair down to tame all flyaways for a polished effect. For extra shiny hair, add a shine serum or spray before pomade.

On the parted side of your head, add 2 French braids. To do so, take a 2-inch section of hair, French braid about 5 inches back and bobby pin into place, hiding the bobby pin. Add hairspray lightly over your hair to keep it in place.
