3 Summery pedicure nail art tutorials

These three artful pedicures are an easy way to get your toes summer-ready.

Colorblock

Supplies:

  • OPI “Gargantuan Green Grape”
  • Orly “La Vida Loca”
  • Toe separators

Instructions:

Begin by painting your nails with a base coat of green. Let dry and then paint half the nail pink. Mirror the stripes on the other foot.

Gradient

Supplies:

  • OPI Sheer Tints “I Can Teal You Like Me”
  • Essie “Blanco”

Instructions:

Start with a white base coat. Paint all toes besides the big toes with two coats of the sheer tint.

For the gradient on the big toes, apply one layer of tint starting a little from the top to let the white show through. Let dry for a minute and then follow with another coat, starting a little lower than the first blue coat.

Let dry for another minute and give one last coat at the bottom of the nail, lower than the previous coat.

Swirls

Supplies:

  • Sally Hansen “Mellow Yellow”
  • SquareHue “Collins Avenue”
  • Dotting tool

Instructions:

Start with a yellow base coat (you may need two coats).

Dip the dotting tool into the orange paint and press onto the surface of the nail, making a swirl pattern of dots. Carry the design onto the other nails, making each one a bit different.
