Say goodbye to your standby makeup routine and try out some new looks this summer. We’ve got three tutorials to get you started.
Bronzed beauty
We all know how hot it can be during summer; sweating is makeup’s worst enemy. We work so hard to look great and in minutes we can be a hot mess, literally. Here are some tricks and tips to make sure your face stays in place.
Supplies:
- BB cream
- Full-coverage concealer
- Bronzer
- Blush
- Eyelid primer
- Shimmery pearl eyeshadow
- Matte brown eyeshadow
- Pencil brush
- Gold eyeshadow
- Blending brush
- Brown gel liner
- Mascara
- Finishing spray
Instructions:
Step 1
Prep the skin with BB cream. This will act as a foundation but will allow your skin to breathe through the makeup, preventing breakouts by not blocking pores. BB cream has many benefits from SPF to moisturizing the skin. Apply a full-coverage concealer to hide any imperfections and dark circles. After BB cream is set, apply bronzer and blush.
Step 2
Prime eyelids, apply a shimmery pearl color to the inner corners to the lid.
Step 3
Apply a warm matte brown to the crease; adding warmth to the eye look complements bronzed cheeks.
Step 4
Using a pencil brush, apply a gold eyeshadow on the bottom inner corner.
Step 5
Add the warm brown color with a blending brush to the bottom outer eye.
Step 6
Apply a brown gel liner and blend out the corners, and finish the eyes with mascara.
Step 7
Apply a finishing spray. This will seal in the look and help prevent smears from sweating or rubbing the skin.
