Materials:
- Porcelain mugs
- Tape
- Chalkboard paint
- Paint brush
Directions:
1.Clean off the mug.
Try and wipe it down as cleanly as possible so that no stains get permanently cooked on.
2. Tape off sections you do not want paint on.
You can paint the entire mug, just do half, or put the tape on in fun patterns.
3. Apply chalk paint.
Brush on as smoothly as possible, keeping your brush strokes going in the same direction and apply multiple coats if necessary.
4.Remove tape.
Wait to remove it until the paint has dried, this will give you smoother edges.
5.Place mugs in the oven at 300 degrees F for 35 minutes.
Flip them upside down and make sure they are dry enough that there is no dripping.
