DIY white pearl studded headband

Add a bit of hair flair this spring with a great studded headband.

t I fell in love with headbands when I was a young girl, watching Full House and seeing Stephanie always wearing hers. I like to think of it as a lifelong love affair, though. There was a time when I wore one every single day and even wrapped the ends with Band-Aids after they started to hurt from the long wear.

t Headbands are great items to keep in your accessory arsenal. They are easy to throw on when in a hurry to get out the door. Especially useful during that awkward stage while growing out long bangs. That is me over here!

t Throw one on that has a great bow or sequin studs and you can instantly glam up that casual outfit. No matter when you wear one, they are always trendy and in style. Seeing so many different options out there, and being inspired by many of them, I decided it would be fun to make my own, one that fit into my own personal style but could be paired with a numerous assortment of ensembles.

t It is a great way to customize your hair and add a bit of personalized flair. Follow the simple steps below to see how you can make your own headband at home too!

t

t 5. Continue looping the needle through the fabric of the headband and around the loop several times to secure it in place.

t

t 6. Remove the needle and wrap the thread around the underside of the headband and around to the opposite side of the first pearl.

t

t 7. Wrap the thread around the space between the pearls to secure the band in place.

t

t 8. Repeat this method of wrapping until you have secured down each space between the pearls.

t

t 9. When you reach the end of the string, rethread your needle once more. String the needle through the loop on the end and secure it into place similar to step 5 above.

t

t 10. Thread the string to the underside of the headband, tie the thread into a knot, and snip off the excess.
