DIY vanilla grapefruit linen spray
For this linen spray recipe, you will need:
- t
- Filtered water
- Essential oil(s)
- Unflavored vodka
- Empty spray bottle

t
t The amount of each ingredient will vary depending on the size of your spray bottle. My spray bottle seen in the photos holds almost 3 cups of liquid. Just a tip: you can find spray bottles in the cleaning section of any grocery store. Essential oils are found at many health food stores, or they can be purchased online and shipped straight to your home.
t
Combine:
- t
- 2-1/2 cups filtered water
- 3 drops pink grapefruit essential oil
- 2 drops vanilla essential oil
- 1/4 cup vodka
t
t
t
t The vodka helps the water dry quickly when the linen spray is dispersed. The essential oils that I used create a beautifully fresh vanilla grapefruit scent that is perfect for the season. You can use your new linen spray on clothing, fabric furniture, or even as a quick air freshener.
t Not a fan of vanilla or grapefruit? Don’t have those particular essential oils on hand? That’s OK. Get creative with your DIY linen spray and experiment with your favorite scents. If you happen to smell the vodka, simply add another drop or two of essential oil.
t
t Before spraying this linen spray, give the bottle a couple of shakes. If the ingredients sit long enough, they will separate a little bit. A quick shake will mix them right back up again.
