7 Bloggers to follow on Instagram during New York Fashion Week

by

New York Fashion Week is almost upon us. Didn’t get an invite to your favorite designer’s show? Not to worry. You can still get the inside scoop by following your favorite fashion bloggers on social media.

Fashion bloggers have become fixtures at the biggest presentations, sometimes even scoring front-row access, which means their Instagram accounts really heat up during the week. Want front-row and backstage views of next season’s fashions without having to score a ticket yourself? Follow these seven bloggers for an insider vantage point from the comfort of your own living room.

Leandra Medine of the Man Repeller is one of the most popular fashion bloggers there is, so it’s no doubt that her Instagram is always overrun with backstage photos and street style images come Fashion Week. Think crazy fashion that’s still somehow highly wearable (if a little man-repelling).

Bryanboy

Bryanboy is a fashion superstar who regularly rubs elbows with A-listers and wears top designers on a daily basis. He’s one of the most high-profile bloggers around, so his Instagram feed is constantly being updated with behind-the-scenes shots at style events. It really kicks into high gear come Fashion Week.

The Glamourai

The Glamourai is run by New York City-based stylist Kelly Framel, who posts her own outfit-of-the-day snaps as well as staged photoshoots. She’s a major fixture at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week each September and February. The above photo is from Alice + Olivia’s fall 2014 presentation at the McKittrick Hotel.

The Native Fox

Jennifer Grace of The Native Fox might live in California, but she’s certainly a permanent fixture in New York come Fashion Week. She even shot some street style for the official Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (@mbfashionweek) Instagram account during fashion month in February 2014. Follow her and you won’t miss a single noteworthy outfit.

Fashion Toast

Like Bryanboy, Rumi Neely of The Fashion Toast is part of the first wave of professional bloggers who paved the way for those joining the profession now. Her feed is always flooded with images showcasing her minimalist style and her extensive travels, but during Fashion Week, viewers are treated to runway shots, short videos and pictures of Neely alongside other fashion insiders.

Schuman is a world-class street style photographer who travels the world capturing amazing moments of personal style out on the street. His talent is especially highlighted during the major fashion seasons, when all the fabulous people are at the top of their style game.

Tina Craig, co-founder of Snob Essentials and contributing editor at Vogue Taiwan, operates BagSnob, an Instagram account that focuses on the latest It Bags. Given that she sits front-row at tons of big-name shows (like Marc Jacobs, pictured above), you bet her social media accounts are a total treat during Fashion Week.
