Greetings, new friends! I’m Laurel Pinson, the editor-in-chief of StyleCaster Media Group, and we are absolutely thrilled to be joining the SheKnows family.
Before my current gig, I wrote about shopping for Lucky Magazine, raided sample sales and interviewed designers for NBC, and may or may not have starred in a few videos for New York’s Taxi TV. Over the course of my career I’ve learned a lot of things, including these three: (1) Size doesn’t matter — fit matters. (2) You can transform any outfit with a belt. (3) My love of high heels is inversely proportional to my ability to walk in them. (Full disclosure: I once sprained my ankle in a spectacular pair of wedges.) I’m a big believer in the transformative power of style, and I’m a great lover of cheeseburgers, so-bad-they’re-good action movies and The Big Lebowski.

Sure, I’m biased, but you’re gonna love us.
What can you expect to see coming up, dear reader? Fall fashion and beauty trend reports, up-to-the-instant dispatches from New York Fashion Week, and a round-up of this year’s 50 most stylish New Yorkers — all photographed on the streets of Manhattan. Sounds pretty good, right?
