It’s been one hot mess right after another since Apple’s launch of iOS 8 and 8.0.1. In several cases, new users of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus found that their cellular service and Touch ID were disabled after making the software update. And though Apple rushed to correct this issue, users are still reporting issues with iOS 8.0.2, which was released last night.

In a Reddit thread titled, iOS 8.0.2 Released, some users have still been reporting issues with WiFi and cellular connectivity, and Touch ID. However, the most common problems seem to be less major. Issues with third-party keyboards, most particularly Swiftkey and Swype, have been reported, as well as the built-in Apple keyboard in iMessage. In addition, some users have reported that the Photos app is now crashing.
From the looks of things, it seems the majority of the issues are now being reported by users who own older iPhone models, such as the 4S, 5 and 5s. So, if you’ve recently upgraded your software to iOS 8.0.1 or 8.0.2 and are having issues, Apple has released a work-around so that you can get iOS 8 back on your phone. But, if you haven’t made the switch yet, it might be best to just wait.
