OK, where’s the $7.5 million when you need it? Michelle Williams is making a huge mistake by parting with easily the cutest house in Brooklyn. Not the over-the-top luxury celebrity home we’re used to, this house makes up for it with the most adorable features on the planet.
At first, you would think this adorable home is located somewhere in the midst of Dawson’s Creek. But while the owner may have been feeling nostalgic about her past when she purchased it, it is definitely located far from the blissful days of the ’90s show. Actually found on the residential streets of Brooklyn, this slice of real estate is up for a whopping $7.5 million. Four stories tall, the curb appeal is absolutely breathtaking with its climbing shrubs that sprawl the entire exterior of the house.

Fitting the actress’ classical-meets-bohemian style, Williams’ interior is just as cozy inside as it is on the outside. The 1,000-square-foot parlor floor is certainly one of the best aspects of the home. Wide plank flooring, 12-foot ceilings and wood burning fireplace and windows that overlook the garden make this room the sanctuary it deserves to be. Providing plenty of storage space and open flooring for conversation and family bonding, there is no doubt that Michelle and Matilda made many wonderful memories in this space.

At the other end of the loft, you’ll find yourself looking outside to the home’s most beloved position: the rooftop garden and waterfall. A private area that shows off the best of Brooklyn, this is the perfect spot for relaxing after a long, hard day of acting.

Seriously, who wouldn’t love a private garden on their estate? Apparently not Michelle Williams, since she is parting with the 3,600-square-foot home. Purchased in 2005 with then boyfriend, the late Heath Ledger, the pair bought the home for a steal at $3.6 million. Listed with six to eight bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, it is safe to say that perhaps Matilda, who just turned 8, has outgrown the home and is ready for something a bit larger to finish out her childhood days. Sure, the house is larger than the average American property, in celebrity minds, this house is on the smaller side.

The second floor of the home brings forth two bedrooms, two baths, the laundry room and this picturesque library. A quiet, brass lit space, this room is what dreams are made of. Combine this room and the garden, and you could sell anyone this house without a problem. Well, anyone with $7.5 million to spare.

On the fourth and final floor is the master suite. As with all celebrity real estate, the room is adjoined by a massive walk-in closet. Wake up to tree-lined views of Brooklyn with the four-window corner and create another reading nook with the attached office or nursery space.

The last, but certainly not the least, highlight of the home is this drop-dead gorgeous bathroom. Lined with old-fashioned marble flooring, antique double sinks, a rainfall shower and claw foot tub, this space is what every lady yearns for. If not for Matilda, I’m convinced this bathroom, the garden, the library and the ridiculous rooftop waterfall is why Michelle stayed in this pad for so long.
