Winnipeg

Toronto

Ontario’s capital hosts a couple celebrations worthy of Canada’s birthday. The first happens at Ontario Place where you can catch live music as well as performances by Native Canadian dance troupes. Cap off your day with fireworks synched to music at the Festival of Fire.

If you’re a little further north of the city, pop by the celebration at Mel Lastman Square. This year’s festivities are being held in conjunction with KidSport as a way to promote healthy living for kids (guests will even have the chance to meet some Canadian Olympians). Ottawa

Every year, Ottawa turns into the place to celebrate the nation’s birthday. Thousands of people pack Parliament Hill to take part in outdoor concerts and picnics and to watch street performers in the nearby Byward Market. Prince Edward Island
