Northern Canada
The most sparsely populated region of the country, Northern Canada, home to Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, is still an incredibly exciting place to visit. Covered in ice and tundra, it’s the residence for most of Canada’s Aboriginal population: Inuit, First Nations and Métis. It’s the perfect place to canoe, catch glimpses of the Northern Lights or visit the Arctic watershed. Tours to see polar bears and other wintery animals in the wild are popular in this region.
