Agawa Canyon Tour

Dubbed as “A One Day Rail Adventure into the Heart of the Canadian Wilderness,” the Agawa Canyon Tour runs about 185 kilometres north of Sault Ste. Marie. Rail travelers will experience a ride over breathtaking train trestles, and take in the incredible scenery of the Canadian Shield region, including the granite rock, lakes, rivers, and forests.

Tour guides will ride along with you to share knowledge on the sights and history. Best part — the train coasts 500 feet down into the canyon, where travelers can spend time hiking, on the lookout platform, shopping in the souvenir car, or letting the kids stretch their legs in the small playground and picnic area!
