Many people leave their ceilings white, but that doesn’t have to be the case. If you have higher ceilings, a good way to decorate with paint is to paint your overhead wall a darker colour (this will make your room feel warmer).

Update furniture

A simple way to decorate with paint is to update any item of furniture. That’s especially true of items made of wood. All you have to do is sand the item down then add a coat or two of your chosen shade. Bright colours work best, especially in spaces where walls are painted neutrally.
