10 Canadian beauty and fashion bloggers to keep your eye on

6. Beauty Reflections

Tracy touts herself as a “Canadian girl with a blush addiction” who worked at Sephora in part to finance said addiction. She worked in science and has a passion for sharing her knowledge of makeup application and products. Lots of reviews on her site, and many of the products she reviews she bought for herself.

Tracy explains, “The purpose? To give honest reviews! I started my blog because of constantly being disappointed when buying a makeup or skincare product after it got glowing reviews in a magazine. That’s why I blog.”

7. Coco & Vera

Cee is the lovely lady behind this gorgeous fashion blog. Her style icons are classic beauties — think Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy and Coco Chanel. She hails from Vancouver, but her style is straight out of Paris. Her beautiful ensembles are presented in fun photographs. We loved this post, where she models a vintage outfit that belonged to a family member but looks to be made just for Cee.

“Coco & Vera is all about adding Parisian je ne sais quoi to everyday life, from curating a simple and elegant wardrobe to travelling in style and speaking your mind,” explains Cee.

8. Glitter Geek

The girly-girl behind this blog is Arianne from Toronto. She does product reviews and has an amazingly extensive list of them. You can search reviews by brand, product type or category. Her site is full of great tips, and her photos are close up and incredible. She is also a freelance makeup artist, with beautiful pictures on her other site, Artistry by Arianne.

9. Latest Wrinkle

Just consider Amanda of the Latest Wrinkle your plus-size fashion guru. Amanda, who went to fashion design school at Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver, has a unique take on plus-size style: She focuses on a diverse collection of fashions that provide a little something for everyone. We can’t get enough of her weekly “10 on Trend” to keep us fashion-forward and in the know.

“Each day, I try to live amidst beautiful inspiration of fashion, beauty and lifestyle so that I can share the experience with women of all sizes. I believe that style is not limited by a number, but rather an expression of one’s self,” she says.

10. My Curves and Curls

Curvy and curly-haired fashion blogger Assa is all about making a bright and bold statement, regardless of size. Assa, born in Mali and currently living in Canada, is a wife and mother of two who spends her spare time focusing on personal style, hair and beauty, with inspiration from thrift and vintage finds and low-cost shopping deals. Assa’s beautiful blog makes it clear that if you want to look like your most fabulous self, it doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg.

“I have a fashion blog where I share a bit of personal style and a lot of shopping options for plus-sized women. It’s also about helping women of all ages feel good about themselves,” Assa says.
