The best spots online to score major fashion deals

With the rise of online everything, buying clothes online is hitting new heights. While most savvy fashion girls will know the hubs of online shopping in Canada, now seems like a prime time to update that list with a crop of new shopping options.

Bargain hunting online

Nowherland

Launched just this past July, Nowherland stocks fashion-forward finds from Los Angeles and Asia for the bad girl at heart who is perhaps on a bit of a budget. Prices start at $35, and with limited quantities, you likely won’t see another maven walking around in your exact getup.

ShopBicyclette

The stand-alone store on Queen West has been drawing in fashion-philes since it was founded in 2010 by Paige Boersma, and now ShopBicyclette.ca‘s growing list of items online is the perfect antidote for those not able to visit the freshly stocked store. With uber-cute lookbooks to boot, the sexy and chic branding at this boutique is tops.

Style Stories

While certainly not new to the online shopping scene, eBay.ca has recently taken a much more vested interest in its fashion wares. A recent collaboration and sale with Toronto jewellery designer Rebekah Price was very well received, and the launch of their Style Stories series this past spring shows that the new fashion team at the site has a keen eye for, well, style!

SoopSoop

With the mantra “sustainable fashion doesn’t have to look like sustainable fashion,” new online vintage boutique SoopSoop.com presents women’s, men’s and unisex finds that are on-trend and even “reformed.” Taking someone’s throwaway clothes and reshaping or reinventing them is the idea behind the reformed looks on SoopSoop.com, making shopping through them a bonus when looking to keep the planet in mind.

Hello! La Mode

On the more luxe end of the fashion spectrum comes Hello! La Mode, the first online site in North America that verifies high-end resale goods before they are sent to their new owner, so you know your money is well spent when making an investment purchase. Officially operating as of last month, the site already stocks labels such as Tory Burch, Chanel, Helmut Lang, Christian Dior and Prada.
