First signs of fall

Many of us made leaf rubbings as children, and it’s still fun for kids today and so simple too! Just head out to the garden, gather up different types of leaves, and check out Rebecca’s leaf rubbing tips. She’s also got ideas for tons more leaf-inspired arts and crafts.

Pumpkin whirligigs

These just sound like fun! Now that you’ve brought autumn indoors with leaf rubbings and crafts, it’s time to embrace the symbol of the season: the pumpkin. You can completely customize Rebecca’s pumpkin whirligig tutorial to match the colours in any room, the way you celebrate Halloween (whimsical or warty!), and kids will have a blast creating different jack-o’-lantern faces for each side.

Plan your photos
