Set up a wintery mantel

She achieved this particular look by enlarging a wintery photo she took and then surrounding it with inexpensive decorations, such as acrylic and sparkly deer from the grocery store, a wood heart from HomeSense and a wooden bird from a nearby greenhouse. The large vintage candlesticks add height and sparkle, while the burlap brings in some texture. And when Christmas gets nearer, greenery and stockings can be added in a flash.
