Claddagh Oyster House, Prince Edward Island

Oysters are a powerful aphrodisiac, so we couldn’t leave a restaurant that has oysters so fresh they shuck them at the bar off our list. It’s not a traditional fine-dining, la-di-da kind of atmosphere at the Claddagh Oyster House, but it’s very quaint, cozy and perfect for a more casual romantic night out. Every day from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., oysters are only $1.

Langdon Hall Country House, Cambridge, Ontario

You won’t want to go just for dinner at Langdon Hall Country House; you’ll definitely want to stay for an entire weekend. Girls, this is 5-star luxury, and the food is to die for. A great deal of the produce comes straight from the gardens on the property, and the restaurant is diamond rated. This is no wear-your-favourite-jeans-and-a-nice-shirt kind of restaurant; suit jackets are required, and the menu is super fancy.
