Hôtel des Coutellier, Quebec City, Quebec
In the heart of downtown Quebec City, Hôtel des Coutellier offers old-world charm with the modern comforts you’d expect in any top-rated hotel. Turn the dial to up sizzle, with romantic suites featuring double therapeutic baths and multiple shower jets with rain shower heads (where do I sign up?). Snuggle up as you wander cobblestone streets in search of quaint cafés and candlelit restaurants, or take in a Cirque du Soleil show. We had to giggle, but one of the most affordable romance packages is called the Cocooning package, designed for couples who don’t really want to leave their room, if you know what we mean (wink! nudge!) A room overnight, sparkling wine on arrival, breakfast delivered to your room and late checkout will cost you around $127.
