Spring/summer is one of the hottest times for companies to announce big collaborations or to launch new products. We’ve rounded up nine of the partnerships and ventures we’re most excited about for 2014.

Gap Kids + Kate Spade New York and Jack Spade

Sure, this collab between Kate Spade and The Gap is for the wee ones in our life and it comes out in the fall, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less excited about it. Because let’s be real — how cute will our nieces and nephews look in the bright pops of colour Kate’s clothing has to offer? They’ll be mini fashionistas!

Kleinfeld Bridal + The Bay

Anyone who’s ever watched Say Yes to the Dress will have heard of Kleinfeld’s, the ultimate bridal gown destination. And finally — finally! — it’s arrived in Canada, courtesy of The Bay. Featuring designer ensembles from Carolina Herrera to Greta Constantine, this launch already has brides everywhere rushing to lock down a dress-buying appointment.

ALDO Rise + Ostwald Helgason

If you’re in the mood to add colourful oomph to your footwear wardrobe this summer, then this is the collection to shop. ALDO offers some amazingly on-trend shoes at an affordable cost; they also last. And Ostwald Helgason — founded by design duo Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason — is known for its vibrant, modern fashions. Expect to see plenty of stripes and bold colours.

One of a Kind Show Online Shop

Canada’s most popular craft show (for over 40 years!), One of a Kind, is finally bringing the wares of Canuck-based designers and artisans to the web with a just-launched online store. There are cute clutches, amazing jewellery and out-of-this-world handmade beauty products. It’s a DIYer’s haven.

Reitmans TEE Collection by Ève Salvail

This uber-popular women’s retailer, Reitmans, has teamed up with Ève Salvail, the famed French-Canadian model, to craft an exclusive limited-edition T-shirt to raise funds to combat cancer. Net profits from the sales of the tees will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mélissa Nepton + Thyme Maternity

Moms-to-be, brace yourself — Thyme Maternity has teamed up with one of this country’s best designers to create a just-for-you collection of luxurious, well-cut maternity clothes. The line will ensure you never have to forgo form for function (or vice versa) again. Stay tuned for the line’s launch this May.

H&M + Alexander Wang

OMG! Alexander Wang is teaming up with H&M to create a line of awesome yet inexpensive fashions. Though the line won’t be out until the fall, we’re already dying to get our hands on some of the collection’s pieces. (Alexander is known for his refined yet imperfect aesthetic.)

Banana Republic + Roland Mouret

Another mega designer/retailer collab, this one is excellent for the working woman. According to a press release, the central element of the line will be the Banana Republic Sloan fabric — a unique stretchy textile that’s said to “magically” fit any silhouette. With 30 pieces up for grabs (the capsule will hit store shelves in August), there will certainly be plenty of pieces for us to choose from.

Zooey Deschanel + Tommy Hilfiger

Fun feminine plus prepster? Sign us up! Together Deschanel and Hilfiger have crafted 16 dresses and accessories in Tommy’s signature palette of red, white and blue. Featured are shirt dresses and classic coats as well as plenty of pleats. It’s absolutely perfect for spring/summer!
