Not all changes are destined to last forever. Try this trick to add color to your wall decor.
If you are dying for a little bit of color around you but are not ready to commit to any permanent changes, which would require painting or buying new items, I have an excellent solution for you. Simple ideas are always the best, which is why using masking tape to change colors of your wall decor is so great. You can transform any of your frames into bright and cheerful statements by adding a bit of washi tape to the edges. What’s so great about it? You can remove it anytime you want, or try a different color and it won’t leave any marks or make permanent changes. Never underestimate the power of masking tape!
The application is very simple: All you have to do is apply one or two rows of masking tape (depending on the size of your frame) to the edges. It looks really neat, the colors are rich and the desired effect is achieved. If you are not sure what color to use, try doing a test by sticking a few different masking tapes to the border of your frame to see which one you like most. It doesn’t have to be colorful tape. You might as well try with black and white.
How do you like this idea? Are you going to try it?
