Here are five ways to celebrate this year in swashbucklin’ style.

1. Free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme

That’s right, free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts locations across the United States and Canada. You have to talk like a pirate and dress like a pirate, and there are a few locations that aren’t participating, but most of ye hearties can start your morning off right with the free booty.

Hungry for more? Head to your local Long John Silver’s. According to the official Talk Like a Pirate Day website, the chain will once again give out free fish if you come in dressed like a pirate.
