Halloween decor doesn’t have to be eerie or spooky! Glow-in-the-dark accents add the perfect pop of fun to any party, and your little ghouls and goblins will love getting involved to make them. Continue reading for simple DIYs that will light up your night full of fright!
1.Light the night
Trick-or-treaters will appreciate hauling their treats up a well-lit, safe walkway. Simple white gift bags can be turned into glowing luminaries by punching holes in the front and placing one glow stick inside. Let yourself get creative by using hole punches that come in unique shapes or even create your own outline that resembles an iconic Halloween shape such as a pumpkin or a bat!
2.Signature sips
Most at-home Halloween parties have minimal lighting, so help your guests easily locate the drink station! Display your signature cocktails or kid-friendly beverages in mason jars or mini glass bottles; then, secure a glow stick to the back of the glass with baker’s twine or double-sided tape. This will have guests saying “cheers” in no time!
3. Glowing metallics
When glow-in-the-dark items reflect off of anything metallic, it’s… well… electrifying! Simply connect two or three glow necklaces together and weave them inside a few glass hurricanes. Add in silver or gold metallic candles of various shapes and sizes, and line the candles up along a mantel for a striking presentation.
Put on your costume and enjoy your night full of tricks and treats!
