Biker saves cat’s life and has a new kitty best friend

We love to see movies in which an unlikely duo meet and fall in love against all odds. It’s even better when this happens in real life and the unlikely duo is a person and a cat.

That’s the story behind hard-core biker Pat and his newfound furry best friend, Party Cat. The two met by a chance of fate, as all true love stories seem to begin. Pat was just stopping for gas at a random truck stop and happened upon this little orange tabby, who was badly hurt.

He told two writers for RevZilla, “I was coming back from Born-Free in California, and we had made it to Nevada. I was at this truck stop getting gas, and this little guy just needed help. He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest. We’re feeding him regularly now, so he’s doing better, even though he’s sort of living on the road until we get home.”

Most cats don’t even appreciate being in a car, much less on the back of a motorcycle, so it’s pretty miraculous that Pat found such an easygoing feline friend. “He’s so chill. He just hangs out in my vest when we get on the road. I’ve never met a cat so calm,” said Pat. If it were my cats, they’d take one look at that motorcycle and shoot off in the other direction. This pairing was truly a match made in heaven.

Naturally the unlikely duo are quite popular at most motorcycle events they attend. Party Cat just hangs out on Pat’s shoulder like a little, furry parrot as the biker rocks out at concerts or just chills with his other biker friends. Despite his rough exterior, Pat has taken excellent care of his kitten. Party Cat’s burns are almost completely healed, and Pat’s feeding him a steady diet of tuna until they get home, ’cause hey, everyone eats junk food on the road, right?

This pair proves anyone can make friends with a cat; it’s just about finding the right cat to fit your style. However, in Pat and Party Cat’s case, it seems like fate was what brought them together, and Pat’s gentle soul saved Party Cat and cemented their bond. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go write the next big Disney movie based on this adorable pair.
