America’s gun problem in 7 startling images

Students at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, became targets this week as a shooter went on a rampage, leaving many dead and injured in his wake.

Unfortunately the UCC incident isn’t the first campus shooting that has taken place this year — in fact, it’s the 294th mass shooting that has gone on in the U.S. in 2015, a number that is just slightly over the number of days we’ve had in the year. The infographics below help tell the story of gun violence in America — and it’s a horrible one to behold.
