Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s Palm Springs love nest hits market (PHOTOS)

Whether you’re looking for a private place to get away or just want to own a piece of Elvis history, this incredible midcentury “Home of Tomorrow” can be yours for a cool $6.9 million.

The home was designed by famous architect William Krisel and was built in 1960. But the futuristic desert oasis is famous for hosting Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s 1967 honeymoon hiedaway. Even almost 50 years later, the 4,962-square-foot home is still a stunner fit for a Rock King.

The house sits on the end of a cul-de-sac for privacy and has stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains and Coachella Valley.

Naturally the home has a pool suitable for any rock goddess to get her tan on.

There’s also a tennis court with a gorgeous view for working off those fried peanut butter and ‘nanna sammiches.

Surrounded by lush gardens and grass, the house sits on just over a third of an acre.

The interior looks largely original, complete with a portrait of Elvis and Priscilla over the sofa and Elvis’ guitar.

It boasts four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three stories, and besides hosting Elvis and Priscilla, it has set the scene for two Elvis films and several Playboy photo shoots.

Check out the fireplace with floating flue and chimney. The furniture, aside from the gorgeous built-ins, looks original to the house too, like it was frozen in the 1960s.

At $6.9 million, the house is actually a bargain — the price was reduced from its original $8.5 million.
