Scroll through Instagram and you’ll find thousands of posts of women showing off their lifted butts.
It’s enough to inspire you to get your own booty into a gym to do about a million squats. Squats will do a body good, but NYC salon SB Skin wants to eliminate the need for that with its latest offering.

According to Cosmopolitan, the pros there are now using electrocurrent technology to help lift and contour the body with just a few jolts. For $150, the founding aesthetician of SB Skin, Shamara Bondaroff?, will cover you in stick pads and connect you to the microcurrent machine, known as the CACI Quantum.
But no, you won’t feel like you’re being electrocuted, according to Bondaroff. Instead it’ll feel like a mild vibration that stimulates the muscles to contract, just as if you’re doing squats. Apparently one treatment is like doing 360 squats.

Microcurrent isn’t only for your butt, though. According to Bondaroff, it’s good for improving lymphatic drainage, decreasing acne and treating sun damage, among other benefits.
“You can see a 5-7 year reduction in facial aging after just one treatment. A series of microcurrent facials can take 15-20 years off your appearance, with no risks or side effects, and with those results being long lasting,” reads the SB Skin website.

That said, we’re not sure that this 100 percent works. The only surefire way to get a squat booty? Do squats.
